I’m sure that most of you have heard by now about the tuxmachines.org article concerning bluewhite64. If you haven’t, email me and I’ll post an article explaining that situation. A friend from ##slackware on freenode emailed the “author” of bluewhite64 about some issues that he was concerned about and here is his response.

I have been informed of another port of Slackware to the x86_64 arch. After reviewing the site and talking with a few other people, I will not post a link to this site here, for now. The “author” of this distribution has asked for help from numerous people, including myself, who work with the Slamd64 distribution with no credit to this fact on his website. I, myself, don’t need the credit, but I believe that Fred Emmott should be credited with the help he has given as his work on Slamd64 is what got “the other” distribution off the ground. Until that is done, the link will *not* be posted here. Like it or not, not my problem. This is my opinion, and therefore is law
