Well, I removed the YouTube/Adsense stuff tonight. Its a waste of time in my opinion.

I’ll just stick with the content-based ads and do my best to filter out the junk I don’t want it seeing

I do apologize and yes I know its been a while. A lot has been going on the past few weeks. Lets see, we got a closing date for our home and that is for 12/14/2007. As you can guess we are extremely excited about this. Our daughter who will turn three in the next couple of weeks is excited. She loves her new room already and it isn’t even finished!

I’ve been quite busy with work and so has my wife. This past Friday I had to do jury duty.

Let me say this, it was boring as all get out. I got there at 1:30pm and found myself sitting in a room with 40+ other people for 3.5 hours doing nothing. Most of the time I sat and chatted with a few of the other unfortunates about dining establishments in the area. If you ever get called for jury duty take something to read! I wish I had brought my laptop.

However, I’m glad I didn’t get picked for this jury as it was for a murder trial and that would more than likely mean a lengthy stretch as a juror. Good luck to the ones who did get picked; they have a long road ahead of them.

I’m working on getting a Cafepress store opened up for noobfarm apparel. This actually started out as an idea that stemmed from a conversation. Bunch of us just sitting around talking about how funny it would be to see a shirt or hat or even a coffee mug with quotes on them or just little sayings about noobfarm on them.

Well, I’m going to give it a shot. I’ve got it created and a test shirt up with one saying on it. I’ll be working on more images in the mean time. Not sure what all I’m going to put on there, but we’ll see.

Well, this should be an interesting little experiment. I’ve decided to give the YouTube w/Adsense stuff a shot. However, their smallest players is way too damn big for the front page. I’ve created a page with their largest player on it, hopefully it fits when it starts showing ads. You can see it by clicking at the link to the left or just click here.

I’ve just uploaded 5 new images to the gallery.  No new stages to report really; most of this is interior work going on now.  The only real major change now is that sheet rock is up, taped, and mudding done.  They also have the insulation in, of course, and the texture on the walls and ceilings.  Its really starting to look like a home now.  We are all very excited about this!

Finally, after 4 months of waiting I got my account turned back on.  Originally it was disabled due to “invalid clicks” aka your site got a bunch of traffic that was over the normal for your site so we killed your account.

I submitted the form about 2.5 months ago when I got sick of waiting.  Finally, today, its back on!

The old adage of “patience is a virtue” finally paid off for once.

There are times that I have a hard time understanding where some people are coming from. Why is it that people think they can threaten libel or slander anytime someone disagrees with them or publically calls them out on their own stupidity? Are you really that offended that you have to threaten legal pursuits because someone bruised your ego? Is this how you prove that you are who you are by saying, “Yeah.. he called me an idiot! I want to sue him for it!” Oye. Get a life.

Chris and I have had a discussion about everything going on between he and I.  We both came to the same conclusion that everything that was going on became misconstrued.   Neither of us was right or wrong.  We both saw the light and decided it was time to end this barrage of insults and bullcrap and move on.  This is an apology for the posts that were here and are now gone.  Hopefully, we can both learn something from this situation and avoid it in the future.
