Lightning: 1 Icemaker: 0

A few nights ago we had quite a storm. Hail, intense lightning, heavy winds, and torrential downpours.
Fortunate for us, we didn’t get hit too hard, but our neighbor’s house took a hit from lightning. Unfortunately, that bolt was powerful enough to travel across the yard, into our home, and blow out our icemaker in the fridge. Luckily for us, it was the only damage to our home.
