Well, they finally got our sod down for the yard and it looks amazing. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks to having a sod yard is you have to water it constantly.. 20mins in the morning and 20mins in the evening.

Thankfully, there’s rain coming this weekend and I won’t have to futz with it.

Well, our first little dog didn’t work out. I’m sure most of you have read the small post I did and some of the details leading up to our chosen action.

My wife did a lot of research and found a Boxer/Hound mix on petfinder.

We met with the lady yesterday, actually she drove the dog all the way to our house, and we decided after spending some time with her and Luckee that we decided she was too good to pass up. She has been a GREAT dog so far. Very good with new people; visitors friends and the like and she is also very good with children. When our daughter is sleeping at night, she walks in to check on her. Great dog.. will keep you updated as things progress!
