Yes, last Friday while replacing a UPS battery I got a nice shock.. Hurt like hell. However, I’m fine and the battery is fine.
The only victim was the wrench I was using. Its still usable, but it definitely doesn’t look the same.

Yes, this is a picture of what happens to your hard drive and CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive when you leave your laptop on the roof of your car and then decide to take a drive. Oops. No, this is not mine, but I do know who’s it is.
Addition: I forgot to add when I originally posted this that the two parts above laid outside before the client realized they were missing. These are the result of 5-days of heavy traffic

Yes, fail2ban is a very clean way of banning those idiots. I implemented this on my mail server as I was getting spam botnet attacks and it was eating up my smtp server. However, installing this beauty and configuring it to ban using iptables has stopped that from happening. If you need something like this, I suggest you try it out!
